Federal Policy

The National PACE Association (NPA) advocates on behalf of older individuals with chronic care needs and the ability of Programs of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) to serve them. The association provides a voice to educate our elected leaders and policy makers about issues critical for the successful operation of PACE programs. A core value of the PACE model is the belief that all older individuals with long term care needs should have options that enable them to live in the community for as long as possible. To make this possible, NPA actively promotes a legislative, regulatory and reimbursement environment that enables PACE programs to have the flexibility they need to provide whatever care and services are necessary to help individuals continue to safely live in their community.
