Senate Bill Introduced to Fund Rural PACE Start-Up
The Community Options for Rural Elders (CORE) Act, S. 2369, was introduced in the Senate April 29, 2004, by Senators Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), John Breaux (D-LA), Sam Brownback (R-KS) and James Jeffords (I-VT).

(If you need help identifying your senators and their mailing addresses, go to www.senate.gov . Be sure when sending your letters of support that you enclose some materials explaining what PACE is and highlighting your particular program.)
Rural PACE Technical Assistance Program
The National PACE Association (NPA) and the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) have received a contract from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration to provide technical assistance to organizations interested in developing a PACE program to serve a rural area.
Over the next few months NPA will be working with experts to adapt our existing PACE development materials for use in rural areas.
Interested organizations will be able to attend hands-on training sessions that will highlight the PACE model as well as assess your organization and market potential for PACE development. Please register below to keep up-to-date with the latest rural PACE developments and opportunities.
